National Handloom Day Celebration 7th August 2026
The Home Science Department of Junior College celebrated Handloom Day on 7th August 2026. The celebration was organized by Std. 12th students who displayed models on cotton cultivation, linen manufacturing, sericulture, charkha, spindle and handloom, along with basic weaves.
Interactive games on Traditional Textiles of India and sequencing the process from fibre to T-shirt made the event engaging and informative, fostering pride in our rich handloom heritage.
